   I’ve eaten here multiple times and have never had bad service, but I WILL say that today, the host/waitress looked and behaved like she didn’t want to be there. Luckily she was only showing us to a table and not waiting on us. I had the mojo hash and a side of grits with Gouda cheese and both were very tasty.

   Food was amazing. Service was slower than we liked and we had to sit outside because they didn’t allow an option for indoor seating when we made the reservations which was terrible. Was disappointed that we didn’t have the option to sit indoor once we arrived.

   2nd time trying. This go around was not the same as 1st time. My 1st time going here service was really good from beginning to end. This 2nd time was very poor service. Our service who I found out to be a manager was not attentive at all. After she took our drink & food order, she came back with our sangrias & never came back to our table again. We sat for 1 hr with no update on our food. Never can back to get our order for another round of drinks. Nothing! Watched her most of time at service station talking to other employees. Laughing & joking the whole time. We watched other ppl that got there after us get food & attentive service from there server. We were fed up to the point where we had to go to front to find someone to cash us out for the 1 drink we got. Really was exited to give this place another try, but it let me down because the standards & service was not upheld the same as 1st experience when the owner was there and everything was on point

   Staff was accommodating and truly professional. The food was out of sight as usual. Apparently I was moving too slow to get that reservation for our big family for Mother’s Day but, I am returning. I absolutely love this restaurant.

   My wife’s birthday. Service was a little slow compared with my previous visit. They seemed to be short staffed but the server was pleasant and did her best.

    The service is not that great but I love it at Uptown Yolk! I wish I knew the secret to their daubenspeck dish!
