In the heart of downtown Forest Grove, Urban Decanter is warm and inviting with its wood fired oven, open kitchen and unique wine selection all in the historic Anderson Building. Chef Jeremy is inspired by seasonal produce from our local farmers, and our wines are all hand selected with care and attention to small producers from around the globe. Fresh fish, delicious pastas and our signature short ribs and housemade desserts make Urban Decanter a terrific atmosphere for any event.                                         The warm beet salad was worth the trip. I truly wish that the chefs would use just a pinch or two of salt in the pasta water or the sauce so that the delicate flavors would be enhanced. There’s a very one-note, flour forward flavor in my opinion. I can always ask for salt at the table — have and will continue to do so if necessary.

                                        They gave us free cake for our anniversary, that was really nice of them. If they didn’t run out of prime rib, I probably would’ve given them 5 stars.

                                        Great neighborhood spot - worth the drive. My 3rd or 4th time here over the years; party of 4 and we really enjoyed their menu! The Burrata was fabulous, Meatballs heavy spiced and satisfying; 2 of our party ordered the Eggplant Manicotti and loved it. Our server was able to find wines by the glass based on our preferences, which we paired with their Warm Olives and Focaccia; so tasty.
