Farm-to-table dining in the comfort of our home: that is the unique experience you will find at Urban Hearth. Located in a cozy North Cambridge storefront, our intimate dining room, knowledgeable, friendly staff, and exquisitely crafted menu are the heart of our dinner service. Join us for a la carte or at our chef's counter where you'll have the pleasure of interacting with Chef Erin Miller while dining.

We share a story of culture, community, discovery and home. The globally-inspired, locally-sourced dishes we serve celebrate our rich and complex connection with food. The table is set, whether marking a special occasion or the end of a busy day, we look forward to sharing the evening with you. We welcome private event bookings for graduations, birthdays, weddings and more. To equalize the pay disparity between tipped staff & kitchen staff during our busy times, we add a 5% kitchen appreciation fee to each check. We require 24 hours notice for all cancellations.

An outstanding farm-to-table meal created right in front of you while you chat with our team of talented chefs. When booking, please share dietary restrictions. Note: Our menu for the chef's counter experience is ideal for adventurous diners. This menu changes daily and not all dietary restrictions and preferences can be accommodated. This Mother's Day, Chef Erin Miller looks forward to celebrating mothering and motherhood with you... and your mom:-) We are opening up Sunday, May 11 for an exclusive Mother's Day prix fixe menu featuring choice of appetizer, entree, dessert and a complimentary glass of bubbles. Enjoy an optional wine pairing or zero-proof progression to accompany your meal. Kids are welcome to this dining event. A special menu will be provided just for them. Reservation Information Advanced ticketed reservations are required. Adult Prix Fixe: $95 3-course prix fixe paid in advance, plus tax, gratuity and kitchen appreciation fee Kid's Menu: $45, includes 3 items from our kids menu plus ice cream!

Incredible from start to finish. The best beet I’ve ever had, the she-crab sauce transported me home to SC, and I’m still dreaming of the caramel custard. Thank you!

Truly a gem. Thank you Sam, Abby, and Kate for a wonderful evening! We ordered à la carte. The seasonal menu was approachable, yet challenging. The staff was so cohesive. We so appreciate them entertaining our line of questioning about wine and their ingredients and learning with us! Urban Hearth so well executes the farm-to-table experience and intentionality each food and drink item is clear. Our party of Wisconsin residents and natives was thrilled to see that the Badger Flame Beet, the child of a golden beet and carrot born at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, was featured as part of the beet carpaccio. This is just one example of how creative and research-driven Chef Erin Miller is. We thank Urban Heartb for being stewards of sustainable dining! We hope to return to Urban Hearth the next time we make it over from Wisconsin!

The menu offers a wide variety of choices. Food is thoughtfully prepared with emphasis on a layering of flavors and textures. The quality of the ingredients is evident in the taste of the appetizers and entrees served. Cocktails are designed to complement the food and there is an excellent selection of wines as well. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful in guiding one thru the menu. This restaurant deserves high praises and is a must to dine at.
