Valdari is the newest restaurant from Chef and owner David Arias, debuting November 2022 in Bayside Queens just half block away from Bell Blvd.
The food at Valdari has dishes using the best imported ingredients including a focus on local farm ingredients.
Valdari wine list has the best selections of some of the most iconic and up and coming Italian and American wine producers. Cocktails are grounded in classics but with an Italian twist.

We were excited to have dinner here since the menu online looked good. Since it was Valentine’s Day we were forced to get a $70 pre-fixed menu per person. Nobody told us at the entrance that it was the only choice and got surprised with it at the table. After waiting for 15 minutes for water I had to ask the food runner for it since the server never showed up to say hello. He came to our table 15 minutes after just to take our order and never came back to check on our food or drinks. The appetizers were delicious, the main courses were not great. The stake and the burger were overcooked. The desserts were the worst part of the meal, they had no flavor. The entire experience was bad, they basically took our money and provided a poor dinner and a terrible service. I don’t recommend this place for holidays, they will take your money and offer mediocre service to charge you a service charge at the end even if the experience was bad.

Food service was pretty good due to the fact it was a packed house, and the singing was top notched I was not a fan of the food but maybe it was just what I picked out, honestly give it a try

My husband and I came here for Valentine’s Day and it was a huge mistake. What went well 1. We both enjoyed the taste and presentation of our appetizer and entree What went wrong 1. When we arrived, they had trouble finding our reservation. My husband had to point it out to them on their iPad. 2. Our server took our order prix fixe order - app, entree and desert. She came back a few minutes later to confirm my husband’s app selection. 3. Our apps came out timely and tasted good. Then, issues sprung up! We had to wait 40 minutes for our entrees. We asked 3x about where they were watching other tables get served their full three courses in that time. The server was quasi-apologetic but didn’t do much to fix the issue. 4. My husband ordered 2 diet cokes. The first was in a large mug the second was in a slender glass. 5. The busboy dropped cutlery on my husband and spilled tomato sauce (from his app) on my husband’s dress shirt. Then proceeded to leave the dirty cutlery there and never replace it. 6. My husbands desert looked like a mess. The ice cream on the meh tasting cheesecake had fallen off. 7. They gave us complimentary champagne but it was terrible. It tasted like vinegar. After all that, they automatically added their gratuity and gave us a haphazard “Hope you enjoyed your meal.” We tried to but this place made it near impossible.

Nice setting and great service. We all enjoyed the food and drinks. I had the BUTTERFLY MARTINI and my husband had the Godfather, which has a fun presentation. We ordered the calamari, pepperoni pizza, ribeye, lamb chops and chicken parmigiana. All were delish. For dessert they surprised us with TIRAMISU and ZEPPOLE with candles. I absolutely recommend Valdari for delicious food and great service.

Our family loves valdari!! It is me and my boyfriends go to date night spot at least once a week. And we bring our entire family for dinner pretty frequently too. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The food is fresh and delicious and the drinks are top notch! The ambiance is classy but laid back and family friendly as well. We are Italian and this is authentic delicious Italian food. We recommend this restaurant to everyone and anyone!

Tonight was girls night and we picked the perfect spot. We were treated with live music and great service. It goes without saying that the food is top notch and the service is just as awesome.

The place look nice and good ambience. The service was great but the food was a little lack luster to be honest. Everything was extremely over salted so it was hard to eat it.

Please go somewhere else. Horrible experience. Charcuterie board didn’t come with crackers. For condiments for the board it was literally Smuckers Concord grape jelly and GoGo Squeeze applesauce. Service horrendously slow. We were a table of 3 and then a table of 15 came in 1 hour after us and were served way before us. We wanted a spicy margarita sever said it couldn’t be done. We asked for cucumber in margarita it couldn’t be done. Will not be returning.
