                                                                                                                        I’ve been to this restaurant several times…and just remember it being better. The tell tale for me is around the pita bread…was clear it wasn’t fresh or made in house….

                                                                                                                        Great place for mezze - everything that we had was delicious. We had a party of four and shared a number of dishes from the menu, I liked the wine list, god variety and some decent Greek wines. Retsina by the glass was a treat!

                                                                                                                        Was going to post this on Yelp but Open Table reminded me first. I have been to this restaurant multiple times and I think this is the first review so here it is. As a husband to a half Greek wife, full Greek mother-in-law and half Greek father-in-law, I was introduced to authentic Greek food several years ago. I fell in love with Greek food immediately having gone to several authentic restaurants in Southern California. This place does not disappoint! First the bad - if you like traditional Pastitcio, don’t bother as they have Americanized it and not my cup of tea. I found this out the first time I visited. It took my quite a long time to visit again but am upset I let that deter me. I could go on and on about some of the must-try dishes but will touch on a few here. Saginaki and grilled octopus are must try appetizers. I did not try the goat cheese but I have heard it is amazing. The fresh Mediterranean Sea Bass was outstanding and recommend as another share with the table. Overall the food is excellent but possibly is overshadowed by the amazing friendly and attentive staff. I went there tonight for the first time in at least 6 months and the manager remembered me from the last time I was there. Finally, make time to go on a Wednesday when they have 1/2 price bottle wine. If you haven’t had authentic Greek food before, you are missing out.

                                                                                                                        We had another fabulous dinner at Vas in Roswell. Our service was amazing (Thank you Ree), the manager was also great. The food was outstanding and delicious. And we just had an overall wonderful time at this gem in Roswell.

                                                                                                                        We had a lovely time and wonderful dinner at Vas Kouzina. The restaurant is a little loud because of its intimate size but the food more than makes up for it. The flaming cheese appetizer is incredible and we had the most wonderful waitress. Can't wait to go back again!
