Our renowned Victorian tradition of “Afternoon Tea” under the historic banyan tree invites guests to indulge in a variety of tropical tea blends accompanied by a selection of delicious finger sandwiches, scones and delicate pastries.

Please Note we are a cashless restaurant. We only accept credit cards or room charges as form of payment. A 20% gratuity will be added to all parties of 6 or more and for parties of 5 or more that request split checks.
We kindly ask to refrain from balloon decorations to ensure the views for others are respected. Guests are welcome to bring their own cake/dessert for an additional fee of $7 per person.

In honor of January’s celebration of Mu‘umu‘u Month in Hawai‘i, the Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa, is combining culture with couture. The Veranda at the First Lady of Waikiki is collaborating with Native Hawaiian-owned fashion brand, Kahulale‘a for a special Afternoon Tea event. The first 50 guests to order the Royal Tea set will receive a special Kahulale‘a gift. (Choose "Royal Tea" when booking to reserve your limited tea set!) In addition, on that day only, tea guests can receive 20% off their purchase at the Kahulale‘a store located at the Moana Surfrider. (Must show receipt for discount.) Following the tea, guest are invited into the Grand Salon for a photo area, a "create your own tea blend" bar, a fashion show and more!

Everything was great love the Service I always enjoy coming there every time. Just wish the Christmas tea Would’ve came with the gingerbread That was on your page for the Christmas tea brunch.

We have had high tea in other countries which were former British colonies. The quality of the high tea even in some of the old colonial asian countries is 100 times better than what this overpriced experience provides. Save your 100$/person and spend it elsewhere ! Food quality and variety were poor. The service was good.

First, thank you to restaurant manager Kala and server Daniel at the Moana Surfrider Hotel Veranda Restaurant. My requests were acknowledged and did their best to accommodated to the best of their ability. The cuisine were prepared, presented and executed professionally.

I had high expectation as it was being compared to the high tea at the Orchids! Unfortunately, it did not meet the hype. Shout out to Daniel M for a superb customer service! Food quality is mediocre. Tea choices were limited and finger sandwiches were dry. Desserts were ok at best. I enjoyed the onion rings and fries the most from their The Duke tea service. Their burger, although moist, needed seasoning on the patty. It was also busy and noisy at the time of tea service (2:15). Being out in the Veranda was quite enjoyable and the weather was breezy and pleasant. I wanted to love the experience but for the price we paid, it was not worth it!

Super tasty food!! My party all got the Moana Classic and it was very filling. A little on the pricier side, but everything tasted great and the service was fantastic. Overall, a great experience.

My grown daughters and I started a new tradition of having tea at Moana Surfrider every Christmas season. The food, service and ambiance is fantastic and it’s such a nice way to reconnect during the busy season with just us girls!

Afternoon tea at the Moana is a memorable experience. We have been dining here for over a decade. It's the highlight of our trip. Aki, is our favorite server there. She goes above and beyond to make your afternoon tea special. The ambiance can't be beat. The banyan tree is a lovely canopy and the sparkling blue water of the ocean is lovely to gaze at. If you enjoy people watching this is the place for you. If you enjoy classical architecture you won't be disappointed. The assortment of tasty finger foods is wonderful. My favorite tea is the creamy coconut. It's like eating a piece of fresh coconut. Perfect place to relax, enjoy the company of others and have delicious treats to savour.

A must-do if you can! The menu and teas were perfect for our triple-birthday Sunday Tea! Daniel was the best server and very knowledgeable, attentive and generous! Highly recommend if you’re coming to Waikiki!!
