Verdad Restaurant & Tequila Bar is the unique Euro-Latin eatery helmed by chef Nicolas Farina in its stunning Byrn Mawr locale. A tantalizing array of tapas is what Verdad Restaurant & Tequila Bar is all about and the tapas are sorted on the menu by under mood or food category. Under “chilled,” where you will find small plates like heirloom gazpacho and lonster tacos with shrimp salad, whereas “queso” houses such items as Spanish “ninfas” soft cow’s milk cheese and the semi-soft “drunken goat” wine-aged goat’s milk cheese plate. Larger plate entrees include the mango halibut with avocado mousse, the carne asada filet topped with bacon-infused whipped cream and the half-roast chicken with chicken liver terrine. Verdad is all about serving modern, elevated meals. You can hold your private event at Verdad Restaurant & Tequila Bar. It also holds a “tequila university” class with tapas plates and tequila pairings.

                                              The food is amazing! The delivery is extremely frustrating. My husband has received both of his entrees while I wait for one of mine. The dinner comes out before the appetizer. We come for the food, but don't come as often as we would if the delivery of dinner was improved.

                                              2 specials -- Flautas and Duck Empanadas were fantastic. They should add them permanently. Corn chowder was excellent as well. Finally, really enjoyed the tacos de carne and tacos de pollo. We'd been there many times, this was the first time with a new menu and we were very satisfied. I would stay away from the lamb meatballs, but everything else we had was very good and I would order the rest again, and probably every time. We'd been big fans of Matador in Wayne, but this will take over as a go to place for us. 2 kids (8, 5) enjoyed it as well. It was a very cold and rainy night and we sat in the front corner by the window, when the door opened it was freezing, so we moved. They need to fix this, but a great experience.

                                              Went here before a movie at Bryn Mawr Film. Great experience. Great service and great food. Would definitely recommend it.

                                              Lots of little sharer plate options on the menu. Me and my wife had 4 options amd 1 side in total and it was enough. No complaints in the food. Recommend the mussels (the sauce is amazing, with a little spicy kick). Server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

                                              All 4 enjoyed their dinners. Three had tomato salad and one gazpacho. We had lamb balls and maki mahi platters. Everything was delicious, beautifully seasoned and visually appetizing. Service was attentive. It's location is excellent as it is next to Bryn Mawr film institute and makes for a convenient pleasant evening.

                                              I dined at Verdad last night with a few friends, this is definitely one of our favorite spots! The food was amazing - fish tacos, pork carnitas, heirloom tomato salad, black truffle flatbread, short ribs with smashed fingerlings, carne asada, cheesy cauliflower. Everything came out in a timely fashion and it was more than enough food for 4 of us to share! Our server was fabulous - Marc is extremely knowledgable and made great recommendations for drinks and food. We had a wonderful time at Verdad as always!
