The food, ambience, and manager who came by our table were outstanding. Our server was good overall, but things started off a bit cold and unwelcoming.

Most of the food was not particularly impressive except the duck. In general lacked flavor and spice, the queso had almost no taste and would have much preferred the one at torchy’s or Cabo bob’s. Tamarind drink was good, well balanced, Spa water was ok but would have been better without the extra sweetener Service was slow, they were busy. Waitress never asked for our entree order after briefly stopping in twice for drink and app orders. Took about 20 min for someone to fill our water glasses. Had to flag her down, and ultimately weren’t able to place our entree order until 45 min in. Ambiance was exceptional. It’s brand new and thoughtfully decorated. A little on the noisy side but probably because they were packed. Would have been mildly disappointing at an average price point and would consider trying it again, at this price point probably would not come back.

After a great dinner they helped us take our hot chocolate into the bar and sit around the fire pit. Very accommodating!

They put our party of 8 in a private room, which was so nice. Service was top notch and we had a lot of dietary issues in our party, including allergies. They were so attentive and the food was creative and delicious. Everyone loved it.

Verdad was so different . The food was interesting and well presented our server was great friendly answered questions and made excellent recommendations/. A great experience and enjoyed by our party.

Our steak tacos appetizer had great flavor but the meat was cold. The ceviche was awesome. The octopus was delicious. The duck mole was tender and flavorful. My prickly Paloma was refreshing and I loved the black salt around the rim. I give this rating a 4 because of the cold steak tacos appetizer. It made the steak seem chewy.

It was our first time dining at Verdad and it won’t be the last. I was super impressed by the service and extra attention to detail, and the outdoor seating was perfect for our toddler and small dog. Lots of delicious food on the menu and we’re excited to try more at our next visit.
