Vernick Fish presents Philadelphia’s own, Chef Greg Vernick’s exploration beyond the boundaries of a seafood restaurant. Every dish was perfect. Our server Erica was incredibly attentive, made excellent suggestions, and truly helped elevate the experience. Every dish that came out was immediately consumed down to the last morsel. The drinks were exceptional. The ambience magnificent. We’ve eaten at 1 and 2 star restaurants and this place is on par. Bravo!

We arrived with coats and hats because it was freezing cold and we had to ask them to please check our coats. They seemed put out by the request. Inauspicious beginning but typical for what was to come. The food is good but the service really sucks. The waiter, the food delivery people (never the waiter) and even the bus people are all rude and abrupt to the point of being obnoxious. This is our second time here and we found they’re always like this. Maybe if you wear the Comcast business casual uniform they’re different, as the restaurant looks and feels like it’s a Comcast C suite lunchroom. The menu is very limited but, again, the food was good. Not great, but good. If you’re looking for a good piece of fish and to be treated like s—t by their obnoxious staff and overcharged in the process this place is for you!

Absolutely wonderful. Portions quite small so was surprised when both myself and my friend ordered the crab fried rice that they only gave us one portion to share (may have been a miscommunication). Overall I would definitely be back

Excellent waiter and staff, fabulous side dishes, fish entrees good. Sweet of them to present birthday cookies for my husband at checkout. Might be the best fish restaurant in Phila.

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Philadelphia. There is an incredible freshness to every dish, and you leave feeling so good - full but still light. The dishes are seasoned perfectly, and the fish itself shines while all the accompaniments complement the protein beautifully. The cavatelli was the best pasta dish I’ve ever eaten, and I’m actively trying to figure out how I could make the sauce at home. Beautiful 10/10
