   Se volete vivere la vera esperienza romana, non cercate oltre. Stefano è un vero maestro che si preoccupa della massima qualità del cibo, dell'eccellenza del servizio e di creare un'esperienza di ospitalità italiana senza pari. Non rimarrete delusi da questo ristorante e ve ne andrete più felici. Torneremo spesso! Meraviglioso!

   After a long —long for no particular reason — hiatus, my wife and I went back to Via Cannuccia here in Dorchester last night for a special dinner. As we had expected, the food was exceptional. We started by sharing a delicious and very generous mixed salad. Then Barbara had the Cozze alla Porto d’Anzese, a.k.a. sautéed mussels with parsley pesto, Calabrian chili, and white wine. I am reliably informed that these were delicious as well, even though no one gave me the opportunity to try them. I had the short ribs, which were extra tender and extra flavorful; they came with perfectly cooked broccoli, slaw, the crispiest possible roasted potatoes, polenta, and great sauce. We were careful to follow the advice in the sign on the wall (see below). Service was attentive and unrushed. The only downside was that the dining room was painfully noisy for my 78-year-old ears, so conversation was difficult without shouting. If that doesn’t bother you, I highly recommend the tasty and genuinely Italian food at Via Cannuccia.

   wonderful meal- fabulous mussels, ravioli and salad. pizza was very good. Restaurant is friendly and energetic, loud. wonderful service.

   Amazing baked goods, great fritata and avocado toast (but the toast could have used a bit more avocado. The music got quite loud at times. Overall we love this place and will be back for sure

   I have never been disappointed with any of the flavorful, delicious, Orgasmic food that Chef Stefano has to offer. I bring friends who are visiting out of town to this intimate restaurant and they all echo the same sentiments. They are blown away by the flavor pallete. Thanks for having this gem in our neighborhood, it’s a step above the rest!

   The risotto balls are fantastic. The pizzas are all Good. The caccio e pepe is good too. Best seats for two people are against the wall too. Nebbiolo was good too.

    everything was quite wonderful. I was told in advance not to wear clothes I care about due to the poor ventilation in the restaurant. That turned out to be true, that not only did I need a shower, but all the clothes had to go in the laundry. This is an unfortunate part of the dining experience. The authenticity and the specially prepared Carbonara that wasn't on the menu was an exceptionally nice touch. I wish them well.
