                                                                                                                      We have been to via Emilia several times previously and the food was quite good. This time not the case we had the pasta carbonara which was gloopy and seems to have been sitting for some time before it was served. The gnocchi Quattro fromaggio were thick and pasty. We had salads that were fine Our friend had the lasagna which was also sub par and the lemon chicken which was passable. The service was fine if a little slow. The place was full and busy but at the end of the day under whelming

                                                                                                                      We had a reservation but the restaurant was very full when we arrived. We were placed at a table by the restroom and kitchen which I suspect was their overflow table. It took 2 hours for our food to arrive. The waiter and manager each came by twice to tell us they were very busy and our food was coming. When it arrived it was lukewarm. Manager acted shocked that we were displeased. Not going back ever!!

                                                                                                                      It’s just not as good as it used to be. The menu never changes, so same items since I first started going there 4 years ago. I had the Spinach strawberry salad and it was just ok. I didn’t eat very much of it. I got the Salmon for my entree and it was actually quite nice. Cooked perfectly and sauce was lovely. Potatoes were not a go. Didn’t eat them. I got the crème brûlée for dessert and it was pretty bad. Very thick and firm, more like over cooked custard. Not great flavor. I didn’t eat it all and I normally never leave any dessert behind. This will probably be our last trip there. The last few times have been off. Too bad, it was a favorite.

                                                                                                                      Food was great, good portion, delicious. The piano bar area is cozy, very good performance from the piano men. Good value in discounted Italian wines every Wednesday…would love that will be extensive to Californians.

                                                                                                                      We should have taken pictures but completely forgot! We bought a friend who had never been there before, and you did not disappoint. The food was excellent, as always! We had the pear and gorgonzola for an appetizer and loved it! We’d never had it before! The entrees were amazing! We couldn’t decide which dessert to get so we ordered three different ones and shared. We definitely will return.
