   Our dinner here was great!! Ambiance was really nice and it’s a very upscale establishment. Our table ordered the fresh catch, burger, and ceasar salad and all were top notch!

   The food was good, but not 5 stars. I would give it a 4 minus, overall. Also, It was my wife’s birthday. They were told when the reservation was made and again when I confirmed the reservation the day before. They never did acknowledge that her birthday.

   Excellent wait staff. From the bar service to our table service all were attentive and happy personalities. The food was good with well mixed cocktails and a great selection of wine from France, Italy, and USA. Thanks!

   Started off great - the alley way is a wonderful way to approach the restaurant, and sets the tone for a magical evening. The Restaurant has great ambiance - high ceilings, lighting is appropriate, not too bright or too dark. the music was at a good level. The decor was cool with all of the swordfish / Marlin paintings. We sat at the bar to wait for the reservation. The bartender was affable and served us great drinks. When were seated we were greeted by an undertrained waiter. Seemed like the busboy was standing in. He wasn't unfriendly, but didn't inspire confidence. The food was pretty good, except that my wife's steak was overdone instead of being medium rare. The waiter did make it right by adjusting the bill, but the manager did not come to check. Seemed like it was an off night for the management of the place.

   This was our third visit to Victor's. The atmosphere is great. The menu choices fit any palate and the food is great. Try the Oysters Rockefeller and any of the steaks.

    I reserved a table of 16 for my wife's birthday party, and the staff (especially the bartender/table host, I forget his name) were excellent and super accommodating. I would highly recommend again, especially for large groups.
