   Everything was wonderful. The only criticsm would be the salad was very small for the price. I will return. It's a charming place with good food

   Had some friends from out of town and took them to dinner here. The place far exceeded our expectations. The food was fantastic,The service excellent. Only two other couples in the resturant so it was very quite,

   Overall good. End cut of Prime Rib very tasty, mashed potatoes just okay and beets were a mystery. Steamed clams we're okay, tomato base sauce very tasty. Coconut layer cake very sweet and dense, was looking for a lighter summer cake. Maker Manhattan cocktails- mine on the rocks was weak but friend's served up was spot on. Charge for extra bread was weak.

   Wonderful spot. Along with a restaurant at Jenner, which is at the mouth of the Russian River, the Village Inn is the best dining spot directly on the river. It has a magnificent deck and a super friendly, professional staff. The food is excellent. The bar is special. Indoor/outdoor seating. The Village Inn also rents rooms.

   I've been coming to this place on/off again for about 12 years. I'm not sure what has changed, but it's very different now. It used to feel very comfortable and like a home coming, now I get an almost corporate feeling. The staff isn't as friendly as before, but the food is still pretty good. One really strange thing happen though, some woman walked through the dining room with two cats on a leash! She acted as if it were normal. In any case, I would go somewhere else before eating here again.

   We were staying at the Treehouse across the street for our sons 30th Birthday we made a reservation before arriving and had no idea the restaurant was so close to where we were staying and could walk to the Village Inn which was a great surprise. Our waitress was amazing so helpful so nice she along with the food made our evening so memorable for all of us

   Our 45th anniversary dinner couldn't have been more perfect! Ran into old friends where we all enjoyed our delicious no-rush dinner on the deck. Watching the beach goers at the distance, those canoeing and kayaking down the lazy Russian River below & catching the sunset topped off the already perfect evening! Highly recommend this Inn and restaurant for your special date!

    I love the artichoke and crab cakes. Chicken under brick juicy and carmelized. Good Cesar. And the orange chiffon cake was out of thus world. Always my riverfront go to. Cozy elegant fun.
