                                                                                        I read some negative reviews and almost cancelled our reservation. VERY glad I didn’t. The hotel and restaurant are beautiful, our servers were attentive, food came out fast. We mostly enjoyed the sweet dishes like the Brioche French Toast and the lemon mascarpone pancakes. The gruyer omelet was nothing special. The decorations in the Hotel are beautiful. Would come again! I requested a table with a view because it was my daughter’s bday and we had a great table! Also host said Happy bday to her when we arrived!

                                                                                        Horrible experience. Rushed. Paid over $100 for a 20 minute meal. Had a reservation for noon but the kitchen closes at noon?

                                                                                        It was underwhelming. Server was not very nice and food was very heavy and salty and not worth the price. The one part of the hotel that I found disappointing.

                                                                                        Petit déjeuner dans un palace : Jus de fruit en bouteille (pas pressés). Nous avons pris 2 petits déjeuners américains. Au bout de la 3 ème fois que nous demandions mon thé. J’ai dû me lever pour demander au serveur si mon thé allait arriver avant notre départ. Il a finalement emmené. Il y avait une boîte à thé pour le choix de la saveur. La encore pas de chance pour moi j’ai dû insister pour connaître les différentes saveurs et moi même demandé si il avait du thé au jasmin. Assiette très simple avec œufs Sunny side up , bacon et pomme de terre digne de n’importe quel Dinner. Vraiment très déçus . Pour finir 20% de gratuity imposé directement sur l’addition que j’ai fait enlever pour mettre la moitié… Gratuity ok quand le service est normal… et plus si il est bon. La imposer 20% pour un service très en dessous de la moyenne. Non! Même les clients à côté de nous on vu l’histoire du thé et étaient désolés pour nous. Pas digne d’un palace!

                                                                                        The service was not on par with our past experiences here. After we sat down, we waited 10 minutes to see a waiter. When he arrived at our table, we placed our drink order and waited 15 minutes for just coffee. We ordered at that time, and when we got our food, which was around 25 minutes later, half our dishes were either missing or cold. Based on this experience, we would not come here again.

                                                                                        We had a fabulous brunch at the Villard. The Christmas decorations and ambience were perfect. Each of the 3 of us had something different and each dish was absolutely delicious. The French toast was sublime! And special kudos to our servers Melissa and Kevin who know how to make every guest feel special. We will be back.

                                                                                        Very lovely venue at the Lotte Palace in NYC. Gorgeous gilded dining room off the Gold Room bar. Service was slow for being seated and throughout our Sunday brunch. It seemed disorganized or that they were overwhelmed that holiday weekend. The food was delicious though and it was conveniently located by St Patrick’s Cathedral where we had just attended mass. Will try it again on a non holiday weekend.
