   excellent service... great ambiance... just ok food... food was good... just not good enough to return... cannoli's were small and uneventful... we are foodies and better italian exists in the area... again service was excellent...

   Excellent dinner with new owners. They take as much pride as Vincenzo had with their food preparation and attention to good client service. I will be back!

   This new addition to the neighborhood is very welcome. I almost never give a 5 star review. For what this is, a neighborhood restaurant, it is an excellent choice for a nice evening out. Their pizza oven is almost ready to serve. The price is a little high but once in a while its ok.

   Excellent! Vincenzo Trattoria scored with a special of chicken breast stuffed with sage and prosciutto tonight. It was splendid with a Chianti Classico. Head Chef Tasha has a seemingly inexhaustible array of specials, all prepared for the moment. Idaho is fortunate to have an authentic Italian restaurant. There are many American-Italian restaurants, particularly chain restaurants, but for the warm, welcoming feeling of a genuine Italian trattoria, and Italian cuisine more authentic than any in Boise, there is no place like Vincenzo Trattoria. The wine list is impressive as well. There was even a dessert special. Guests are treated like family: it seems repeat customers are abundant. And the service is attentive and professional. I see no reason to eat "Italian" food at a chain restaurant when you can see the owners of Vincenzo Trattoria busy in the front of the house and in the kitchen, personally making sure your experience is delicious and delightful.

   Vincenzo Trattoria is a surprise: the most - in fact, the only - truly authentic Italian restaurant in Boise. First, it is local: the owners are there every evening, cooking marvelous Italian food, greeting every guest like family, and providing attentive, detail-oriented service. If you ever wanted to find a hidden gem, here is one. It's a warm, welcoming place that never fails to bring good cheer with the fresh, excellent food and Italian wines they provide. Second, having spent time in Italy and compared the food I ate there with what is available elsewhere in Boise, Vincenzo Trattoria gets it, hands down. It is amazing someone cares enough to risk everything in order to open a place where they serve genuine Italian food. Pasta and bread are made in house daily. Here, you can meet the owners in person the moment you enter. What a difference! There is nothing wrong with an Italian-American restaurant, of course, but the attention to authentic food and the warm, welcoming family home atmosphere is extra special. So if you want to feel like you are dining at a real Italian trattoria, with others who are happily eating, drinking, and talking animatedly, give Vincenzo Trattoria a try. Buon appetito!

    The space seats 62 this evening and all the other evening we have dinned there the noise level has been very quiet. Service is very good the servers were very attentive, personable and knowledgeable. We both had the specials and they were hardy and simple but exceptional. From the pizza oven bread the calamari and our main dish we were stuffed and had to take our cannoli home. The couple are new owners as of December and are carrying on in a traditional Italian Family way which is hard to find these days.
