   This a very casual Italian place. The food is good if not inventive and special. Mostly old school favorites, Bar has mainly wine and beer and the wine selection is not especially extensive. I didn't try the pizza but it looked pretty average, not really NY style. They had an espresso machine but I couldn't have any because no one knew how to operate it. In spite of all that, I had an affection for the place and the owner introduced himself which was charming. Try it for yourself but don't expect Italian haute cuisine.
