I've come to this restaurant many times. My friend works in the neighborhood. Last night the service was above and beyond. Everybody was friendly, the waiter, the young lady who brought us our dishes the person who brought me my wine. Everybody was super friendly, which really makes a difference and of course the food is yummy.

I booked Eataly for a business lunch. The Prix Fixe was $24 for an appetizer and main. Both the mesclun-mozzarella salad and spaghetti main course were average. I would expect richer flavors from Eataly. The service was also not what I expected. The waiter forgot to bring the additional condiments - cheese, pepper, salt - and we had to ask several times for these items. The wait staff also did not check to see that everything was fine and if we needed anything additional. The only time they came back to the table was to ask if we wanted coffee and dessert over the course of an hour meal.
