   As a Southerner, I was prepared to be disappointed because I can never find good down home food when I travel to the north. This was absolutely the best collard greens and Mac and cheese that I have ever had! The biscuits were light, fluffy and favorable. Nothing on the menu disappointed from drinks to entrees. Wait staff and floor manager provided outstanding service. Can’t wait to visit again on my next trip to Chicago!

   Wonderful meal in the bar room. Food was wonderful as usual— especially the gem salad to start. Roast chicken also a standout. The service was attentive but rushed, food appearing before the previous course was finished. In general we felt like the clock was ticking to get out.

   Consistently delicious!! We has the gumbo, blackened catfish, greens, cornbread and chocolate cake. Loved that the split the bowl of gumbo into two cups for us!!

   A fabulous mix of flavors! The fish was incredibly fresh, the service impeccable, and the vibe outstanding. The menu was uniquely original—unlike most restaurants—and we truly enjoyed every bite. We highly recommend it!"

   This was me and my husband first time at virtue. The food was outstanding. The service was outstanding. This will not be my last time there. Everybody was so pleasant there They came around to see if everything was OK. Anthony was my waiter. He was just outstanding.
