Virtue Feed & Grain is a modern American dining room and bar located near the Potomac River in Old Town, Alexandria. Our menu offers an array of original recipe, flavorful, scratch-made dishes, along with extensive selections from the bar, like handcrafted cocktails, craft and small-batch beers, and an impressive wine list. The rustic elegance of our large, two-story restaurant provides a vibrant atmosphere for any dining experience, as well as private and semi-private spaces for private events, celebrations, weddings, business meetings, and gatherings of all types. The seasonal outdoor patio on historic Wales Alley offers views to the Potomac and a fun, casual destination.**

Love this restaurant, I’ve been at least 5 times. Drinks are always good and I usually get the short ribs

Great time back at virtue. Excellent service and best steak I’ve had in ages. A little loud but to be expected on a big Saturday night! Thank you as always

Had the Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned, kinda pricey at $18, but it was good. Ordered the fish tacos and Wagyu Birria burger…both had nice plate presentation and tasted great! Huge Bourbon selection, pretty good draft beer selection as well. Cool atmosphere. Prepare to spend $100 bucks or more for two people if you like to have several drinks. Located in Old Town, and near Potomoc River.

The waiter was very congenial, attentive. the food, rockfish and salmon was perfectly prepared and the wait time for our meal was just right. Ambiance wonderful. Highly recommend.

We were seated upstairs in the back with a beautiful view of the river. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable and the tacos were beautifully prepared. Couldn’t ask for a nicer lunch.
