Met a friend for lunch at noon on a Friday. Parking is horrible unless you want to pay for valet parking. We were seated outside and it was windy and cold, and the restaurant did not have adequate outdoor heaters. I ordered a pasta dish, which was tasty, but rendered completely cold by the wind after a couple minutes. Overall not a great experience and not at all inspired to return.

Hard to find but well worth it. Off Bristol in the CAMP food/retail store center in Costa Mesa. Absolutely delicious food from Pizza to pasta to brunch and chicken soup. Fresh dessert and Gelatos. Great service, good prices but most of all incredible food. Loved it!!!

Casual setting. Everything you’d want on cafe menu. Family friendly. Heated patio made outside nice on cold be. Food great and service couldn’t have been better except lack of checking on drink refills.

This is real, authentic Italian pasta, the best you’ll find in the south coast area. It seriously tastes just like pasta you’d find at a nice place in Italy. The ragu is my favorite. In my opinion the prices for pasta are a little high for such a casual place, but I keep coming back, so clearly it’s worth it. The service is always very good as well. The patio is nice with a fire pit and good heaters. It’s in the camp which provides nice ambiance, but parking is a nightmare. It took us 15 minutes to valet.

Went there on a Sunday night for dinner with my husband and daughter. Ambience was great, food was good, service was not great. It was not busy - only 3 tables of 2 and our table of 3. People next to us walked out because after 20 minutes the waitress hadn’t stopped by to take drink order. Not sure what was going on.

This casual Italian Cafe and coffeehouse offers great food and friendly service. Our party of three shared two salads and they were both excellent. There is basalmic and good quality olive oil on the table to supplement the lightly dressed salads. The Caprese featured three stacks of fresh tomatoes and some good quality mozzarella. The tricolore salad had strawberries and pistachios. We each ordered a different pasta and my husband was delighted to find out that he could order pesto with his gnocchi even though we didn’t see it on the menu. I had fettuccine with butter, Parmesan and sage. It was delicious and if they had a butternut squash ravioli I would definitely order that sauce with it. My mother in law loved her fettuccine bolognese. The pasta was just a little past Al dente but was pleasing to my teeth nonetheless! We finished with a scoop of delicious Gelotto. We will definitely return.

We absolutely love Vitaly! We had our first date here and recently celebrated five years together our last time at the caffe. You can’t go wrong for any type of event, and it’s a great place just to walk up and grab a fantastic coffee!

We really enjoyed our lunch at Vitaly. The lasagne was delicious and so were the other pasta dishes. The grilled chicken salad with roast potatoes was well prepared and very enjoyable. The gelato was amazingly good especially the chocolate one, and the restaurant is really very pleasantly designed and decorated. Only minus point was that we weren’t offered a high chair for our two-year old.
