Voilà French Bistro in Scottsdale offers classic bistro dishes in an exquisitely designed setting. With Sandrine and Maxime and the rest of the team it will be like stepping into France. We are the place for seafood, foie gras, escargot and more.
New owners since January 1st 2024, which includes Chef Maxime. Maxime has and extensive culinary experience of twenty plus years in France, Maxime excels in the traditional French cuisine, with a keen interest on leveraging and innovating with seasonal products. His extensive experience was enriched from working for Michelin star chefs in the east of France, as well as from his training by Chef Jean-Christophe, the previous chef at Voila.In the kitchen, originality in dish plating and taste are words he thinks about every day.                                                                                       Husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Viola last night. First of all the restaurant ambience is charming w/soft music enabling conversation, without shouting. Shared the salmon rillettes and the salad w/goat cheese. Shared these & servings were generous. Entrees were the special- beef wellington which was delicious. and came with a potato galette and veggies. Also ordered the duck confit which was beautifully prepared w/crispy skin, served with same sides as the beef -delicious! Didn't try any cocktails but enjoyed a French wine. Love that this is family owned. Service was attentive and enjoyed chatting with the owners. Great neighbor hood spot and we will look forward to returning!

                                                                                      The seemed busy and short-staffed. They seem to be attending to some particular tables and kind of just ignored us. Every time we needed something, we had to seek them out and ask for it.

                                                                                      Always a great, "classic French," meal! The food is exquisite--when we went last night, it was for a three course meal with paired wines--and the kind of traditional French cuisine that it is hard to find now. But, beyond the food, the owners/staff are wonderful. With a son who is a chef, we try--and know--lots of wonderful places to sample great cuisine. But we have come back again and again to Voila French Bistro because it is, simply, classic and great.

                                                                                      We dined with two other couples at the December paired wine dinner. All the food and wine was exceptional. The service staff seemed a bit overwhelmed but did a great job given the staffing.

                                                                                      We came here for my dad’s birthday, and it was one of the most special dining experiences I’ve ever had. My first time eating escargo - and I promise y’all that it’s wonderful. We split the saumon fume - delicious. We each had a different entree - I love my sole dish. My dad loved his la choucroute. And my mom loved her scallap puff pastry. They also have a pastry chef. My macaron was incredible, and highly recommend the le citron and opera 12. The owners made our dining experience so wonderful. They were so personable and lovely. I cannot thank them enough for such a perfect night celebrating. We will be back soon! *I also herniated my back recently so it was my first time going out since my injury. The atmosphere is very comfortable and easy to move around.
