Italian-American fare in the heart of The Village. Crafted by Michael and Bryan Voltaggio, the menu at Vulcania Mammoth features organic, local and seasonal ingredients and is known for its Neapolitan pizzas, handmade pastas, handcrafted salumi, and perfect pairings of wine, beer and craft cocktails. A favorite locale for family dinner, date nights, drinks al fresco or a game of bocce ball on the terrace.

                              We were very disappointed. Vulcan is was supposed to have a great reputation. When we went walking were told there were no openings for a few days so we were glad we had a reservation. We waited a long time for service and when we ordered they told us they were out of three of the four entrees. We were not there late (7:30) and it seems a restaurant of this caliber should plan better if they were that booked. We may try them again in case this was an anomaly but we may look further afield instead.

                              I found it interesting that every employee I encountered had the same attitude issue. It’s almost like they are trained to act appalled when asked for anything. Someone needs to remind them that they work in Mammoth, not LA lol

                              Great service, quality food and drinks! Tricolor salad, risotto and branzino were all very good! We look forward to dining again!

                              Servers were exceptional! Food amazing - suggest letting your server pick the shareable entrees - festive, fun & delicious! Fun night out after a terrific day of skiing/boarding. The Arborist red blend is also a must.

                              I felt completely rushed. My dinner reservation was for 630. I was back in my hotel room by 715. I’m not even exaggerating. We got salads before our drinks even came out and then our main dishes came out almost on top of our salads. I felt like they just wanted to get us in and out of the restaurant so the table could be given to the next customers.
