Walters since 1904, and Lloyd’s Pub prior to that, 68 Upper George’s Street has been part of the social fabric of Dún Laoghaire for many generations. Now under new management, we are embarking on the next chapter and look forward to meeting you at our venue.

Everything about the place was excellent but the only gripe was that the Guinness Pie, as written in menu, was not a Pie!! Small portion of cubed meat and mash on plate!! Very disappointed as never had a Pie with no pastry!!!

I really enjoy Walter’s as a day time venue, I find it really family friendly and have never had issues going with friends with multiple buggies. On this occasion we had lunch and the burger was cold but the seafood pasta was very good and even enjoyed by my toddler. Found it quite expensive for what it wall was though

Our Buddha bowls were poor. Mostly just lettuce. Service was good Swinging front door was annoying

Nice atmosphere for a meal, service was excellent, menu had a good selection and reasonably priced. The food was great and definitely will be back.

Took ages to bring drinks. Some of the food was cold. Not one person came up to check on food or ask how we were getting on etc. A drunk man abusing his partner at bar and was continued to be served. One of the worst meal experiences Iv ever had. Wouldn’t even give this place a second chance. Train your staff. Loads on and it was a quite night.

Amazing service and lovely atmosphere. Perfect for a mixed group or a family. Good to cater for all tastes
