Wasabi Bistro Hawaii is one of the Honolulu’s casual dining, with an atmosphere of relaxing out-house theme. The restaurant was founded in 1992 as one of the Japanese restaurants in Oahu as a hidden spot, for family and friends to gather, and it has been treasured for many years.

Wasabi Bistro Global is a modern take on intricate, traditional Japanese food enjoyed in a quiet elegance of an intimate bistro setting. One of our favorite places to eat for the occasional “date nights” or special occasions. Employees are friendly and service is good. The menu selection and food is good. Only hard thing is, and not their fault is parking can be tough to find since they do not have a dedicated parking lot for this hotel that’s it located at in Waikiki. My only suggestion is to maybe provide hand towel wipes as most Japanese restaurants do. Overall we enjoy it a lot. Will always return again. And definitely would recommend to friends and family

I went with my son. We enjoyed one of the special rolls and I had the sashimi salad. Everything was very fresh. I recommend.

Our first time and we will definitely be back. Sushi was outstanding as was the service. This is one of our new must-go spots when we come to Waikiki.

Chef Ono provided us with one of the best sushi experiences we've ever had anywhere. The service and restaurant were fun, while the sushi was absolutely top notch. We will be back the next time we're in Honolulu.

What a very special gem of a place this is. Old school Waikiki Breakers Hotel sets the vibe for this charming bistro which is located toward the rear of the property. Once you step inside Wasabi Bistro you’ll be transported to a magical room with an intimate and cozy atmosphere. Amazing Japanese food is offered (a mix of classic dishes and a few modern ones- oh hello yummy avocado tempura with salt flakes!!) and top notch service to boot (mahalo Akira;) Perfect spot to eat, drink, celebrate, and have a conversation with dear friends without having to yell across the table. Oh… we can’t wait to return.

This is a wonderful restaurant that allows for an intimate dining experience. Besides the great food, there is a nice selection of sakes as well as some great food specials. The service is great and the servers are knowledgeable/helpful.
