An upscale age-diverse crowd mingles at this popular neighborhood restaurant & gathering place east of Wash Park.
A covered strip on the south and west side with heat and misters makes for convivial outdoor seating (you just might see a neighbor). A beautiful lounge is off to the side. Elegant U-shaped bar. Romantic dining room with cozy interior. A spacious & stylish banquet room with its own patio and a presentation compatible 80” HDTV complete this restaurant for every occasion.
Dinners are mid-priced, with a nice selection of grilled seafood & steaks & several fancy pasta dishes. The lunch offerings include sandwiches, pizza, salads & pasta.

The appetizer took an hour to finally get to us after multiple interventions by server. Then, it took a long time to get entrees. All arrived cold. We were compensated the appetizer and a round of drinks, but disappointing. Long been happy here and it was Christmas Eve, but a big culinary letdown last night.

They had a special Christmas Eve menu that wasn’t published on social media or the web. Good food and experience overall.

Service was great, food was great, place was great! I love the feel in the place- it’s an amazing old building and it’s super cozy. Our waiter was awesome- super friendly and professional. We will definitely be back!!!

We have been trying to find a restaurant that we want to go back to again and I think this place fits that bill. Nice sized portions and decent prices. It was a win!

We’ve dined at Wash Park Grill a number of times and last night’s experience was lackluster at best. It seems like they’ve slipped a bit. My wife ordered lamb chops that were overcooked and my ahi tuna was smothered in a sauce. Who does that? The flavor was good, but I couldn’t taste the fish, only the sweet sauce. It would have been a better move to lightly season the fish and leave the sauce as a dipping sauce on the side. This may be nitpicky, but when I ordered my old fashioned I wasn’t able to choose a bourbon, and it came served with a million ice cubes! An OF needs one big cube only. Our waiter Tyler (Taylor?) was great, but we won’t be visiting anytime soon.

Nice spot, but needs a new chef. Confused flavor combinations between Italian, asian, and French. Not a good candidate for any of them. Way too much sauce that was not prepared with the ingredients or flavor combination in mind. None of us could finish our entrees, not because of portion size, but because of flavor.

The bison short ribs were to DIE for. Seriously, if you are a meat-eater, don't bother with anything else! The portion was huge, meat SO very tender - and the chocolate/chipotle glaze gave a hint of heat and a little kick. Nice! The mashed potatoes that came with were very tasty (but a very small portion). The broccolini was vibrant green but so undercooked I had to eat it with my fingers because my knife couldn't cut through it! We had three entrees (two bison, one carbonara) and the carbonara was soupy and flavorless. Super disappointing but my (adult) kids both liked the pasta. We had the burrata which was a nice appetizer (a bit on the $$ side) but good. The onion soup was like dishwater. No flavor AT all. Disappointing. Service was okay. However, for the tip I gave her, I would have liked our water glasses refilled, the empty dishes taken away, suggestions for dessert, and a little more attention (checking in on us, etc). Didn't happen. All in all - it was an OK dinner. On the pricey side $215 for the three of us/including three glasses of their cheapest wine and tip. It was nice to "get out" but not worth the money - even if the bison short ribs were tremendous.
