Celebrated a birthday. Decided to try Water Grill. The salmon, scallops, lobster and oysters were good. The dover sole was horrible. One in my party ordered crab legs and instead of asking which crab legs, the server automatically punched in the $150 king crab legs. Questionable ethics here. Drinks took 15 minutes to be delivered and were way overpriced. And what’s up with soaking everything in butter? The chef needs to tame how he or she cooks the dover sole for example. Instead of being a pound it was more like a ¼ pound of fish soaked in ¾ pound of butter. With the other choices in town for seafood you can do better.

Very good place for a special occasion or business meeting. Tables by windows are the best but hard to get.

I love Water Grill! I love fresh seafood and especially live Dungeness crab! They also have the best sourdough. The menu is updated daily. The service is the best. It’s a very relaxing restaurant to sit and eat. You will love it!

We did the fixed menu, I was so excited by the options but the actual food and service did not meet my needs, I was embarrassed because I chose the restaurant. Problems, calamari was cooked too much, the four of us never got any of our courses at the same time, when we did get it wasn’t what we ordered, the lobster with surf and turf was cooked too much or just dry. We suffered through dinner and had asked if the bread pudding would be hot, got it the ice cream on top wasn’t melting at all, and one of our guests didn’t get anything for about 10 min. The restaurant had plenty of staff on the floor and people were nice but just couldn’t deliver

I came for New Years Eve. I was told ahead of time that it would be 4 course limited menu for $135. When I arrived, I learned I could sit in a booth or table for the limited menu or sit at the raw bar or one of the high tables to access the full menu. I chose the booth. I was served by Jaia (he/him). He told me the raw bar menu was available in addition to the limited menu. So I chose 6 Kumamoto & 6 Shigoku oysters as my pre-appetizer. Excellent oysters. For dinner, I got the Jumbo Mexican shrimp cocktail, a roasted beet salad, a perfectly cooked 10oz filet Mignon and New York style cheesecake. I opted for the wine pairings with each course for $50. Jaia paced out the courses and I never felt rushed.

Very good as usual. Had the fixed price New Years Eve menu with wine pairings. Also NE lobster with oysters! Best in Denver, although pretty $$$, but worth it .

Always, always, always our go-to for special occasions. The menu was a terrific variety of everything Water Grill does well. Our server was incredibly attentive and accommodating. We were able to introduce our daughter and her boyfriend on this visit, and I think you will have two more regular guests from now on. Thank you!
