The Waterfront Seafood Grill is located on the Napa Riverfront in Downtown Napa. This classic seafood grill serves up fresh seafood fare seven days per week.

Executive Chef Jesus Mendez brings over 40 years of restaurant experience in the Napa Valley. Previously, Chef Mendez worked under the guidance of Greg Cole for 21 years at Cole’s Chop House.

We had a great evening. The big question to the waiter was Seabass scallops? He told us that the Seabass was great. The scallops were amazing. I got the Seabass and my wife got the scallops and he was red. The scallops was amazing. The Seabass was just great. To be honest, I would not blame it on the sleep as I would blame it on the fact that it wasn’t cooked the way I like it to be carried cake was amazing. Wine was amazing.

The ambiance was exceptional as this restaurant is perfectly located along Main Street with an electric vibe which makes for a great dining experience. We started with two appetizers, calamari Frutti, and crab cakes. The calamari was very good, but the portion served was very small. The manner in which it was prepared appeared “rushed” and because of the portion size and ratio of crusted onions versus calamari, we should have sent it back. Crab cakes were at best average and served moderately warm. This is where our dining experience shined as each of our entrees, filet mignon with grilled shrimp, lobster ravioli, and Grilled scallops were prepared to perfection and tasted exceptional. Compliments to the chef and his staff as this part of our meal was a five star experience. Unfortunately when it came to finishing off our meal with a fine desert, this part of our meal was a huge disappointment. We settled on one order of “Tracy’s Mocha Cake” which we did not receive for over fifteen minutes and when asked about our desert order, our server said “ the pastry chef went on break” Once it was brought to our table, it was a big let because it was dry, and almost tasted stale. We took two bites and had it returned because it was not edible. Our server was attentive and very pleasant and worked diligently to ensure all four of our needs were met, and was gracious and understanding when I asked her to return our desert. Overall, the Waterfront Seafood Grill is a great place to dine with a great vibe and beautiful outside seating which on brisk evenings is kept adequately warm with outdoor heaters. One suggestion when ordering appetizers, especially the calamari Frutti, mention portion size to ensure you get what you’re paying for. Enjoy! Cheers.

Great food and great server. He explained everything well. Host station was less prepared and there was no actual waiting area for guests. We had a reservation and had to stand outside in the cold waiting for our table. We were waiting for 25 minutes.

Food and service is amazing. This resultant is a short walk from public parking lot. Tables are a little close together but still a great experience.

Wonderful food and fantastic service. We especially loved the seafood pasta. It had lots of yummy crustaceans. This restaurant has a homey feeling that’s very inviting.

We had a wonderful early Valentines dinner on Saturday and it was just delicious. Our server was attentive despite how busy it was, I'm sorry I don't remember his name. We had the scallops and loved them. The pecan pie was divine, give it a try!
