Australian inspired cuisine using local seasonal produce with an emphasis on cooking with fire.

Open 11am - 4pm Friday to Sunday
EMBR Nights 6:30pm - 10pm Friday & Saturday Nights

Our chefs have curated an exclusive à la carte menu, sourcing local produce mixed with ingredients from our very own garden all while maintaining an emphasis of cooking with fire. *JUNE WINE TASTING SPECIAL* Simply choose the Chef's Selection to receive a free wine tasting with your meal **PLEASE NOTE** For bookings of six or more the $85 Chef’s Selection (entree, 2 x small plates, mains and dessert) must be selected. The food was exceptional. Lovely platter to share begore our main was really well balanced. . Good vegetarian options also available but the duck and the short rib dishes we selected were so so good. Presentation is beautiful,. The sude dishes were grat, perfect accompaniments to the main. Could not fault any of the food.

There was 8 of us and we had a fabulous time. Food and wine were great and plenty of it and services was exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We visited for a Friday lunch and had the most enjoyable afternoon. The service was extremely friendly, laid back but professional. We chose the grazing menu and enjoyed every course. Both of us are coeliac, and some places can make you feel like a real pain, but Wayward were fantastic.

Wayward winery was a great find. The staff are friendly and inviting, great food and wine whilst enjoying the views.

Wayward winery is a lovely destination for lunch with friends and family. The food was lovely and wine although our first 3 choices were not available. Nevertheless very enjoyable with stunning views.

Winery dining room was aesthetically beautiful, modern interiors with scandi vibe. We were welcomed by Teddy who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was exceptional, roasted cauliflower was a hit as was the roast pork belly and slow cooked beef short ribs. Great views of the vineyard, the canola fields and the windmills. We will be back !

We ordered the grazing platter, the smoked hummus dip and the empanadas. The food was very nice and we would recommend all of the items we ordered. The service was great, very friendly owner and food delivered in good time. This is a nice spot with great views and nearby grapevines to look out at - and lots of hares running around the vines! Would be very nice here in Summer
