Located in the Greengate shopping center in Short Pump, West Coast Provisions offers an inventive approachable American Fusion menu specializing in shellfish, fresh fish, sushi and steak. It has a big city feel with a sleek décor, tall ceilings, large windows, exposed brick, a fireplace, a private dining room and one of Richmond’s largest outdoor patios. Jack, your new waiter was fabulous! The only issues we had with dinner was the loud noise in the dining room.

We were outside and it was pleasant. A little windy but there is not a lot of noise. Service was good. The kids meals were very nice and well portioned for kids but higher priced. We had the butter noodles and the salad. The mussels were good as was the vegetarian sushi roll.

Appealing modern ambiance. Lot of windows and light. Had reservation, seated immediately - we were caught in a traffic jam on way and called to let them know we'd be late and it was no problem. Served timely. Friendly staff. Food and drinks were great.

As always the food was fabulous. However, our server was not very good. He was not attentive or knowledgeable. He seemed put out and was just going through the motions.

West Coast Provisions in Henrico is a gem! The spacious, beautifully maintained interior made for a relaxing, upscale vibe without feeling crowded. We all had the steakhouse burger—absolutely packed with flavor—and those truffle fries? Next level. Dessert was the perfect finale with their rich chocolate lava cake and another sweet treat that didn’t disappoint. Everything was top-notch. We’ll definitely be back!

The food is excellent Oysters, sandwiches, burgers and bowls; all excellent Service for 1130 was very slow and lacked attention to our table Only three tables of patrons and we waited as long as at a restaurant for a 6:00 pm serving The table wasn’t clean from the night before. The runner with the food, didn’t check to clear the table before delivering dishes It’s not the patrons responsibility to clear the table The hostess looked at her phone and found have been more involved with service when necessary

Good food, fresh ingredients! Hubbie had sushi/sashimi to start and we chose the 6 oz. filet with red wine rosemary demi glace...OMG to.die.for!! Hubbie raved about the aligot potatoes and instead of potatoes (which I should have went with) I substituted jumbo shrimp. Totally a shrimp fan but this particular shrimp was heavily peppered without any butter or cocktail sauce. I mentioned something to the waiter, who said, "next time tell us you don't want pepper on your shrimp because it's made to order" - - I never thought I would ever have to specify no pepper on shrimp - definitely a new one on me so IF you're a pepper fan you'll love their shrimp. As reiterated, good food and fresh ingredients!
