Whiskey Bird is a casual spot in Atlanta’s Virginia Highland/Morningside neighborhood serving Pacific Rim-inspired dishes and classic cocktails. What's popular? Our crispy brussels sprouts, yakitori, gyoza tacos, chopped salad, poke bowl, WB burger, panko-crusted chicken, and Thai steak and noodle salad all top the list. For brunch, our jumbo breakfast burritos, Hong Kong chicken and waffles, "bao benedict", and avocado toast always seem to hit the spot.

Whiskey Bird is an amazing spot! I took a date there and we enjoyed the delicious cocktails and sharable plates. The brussel sprouts are a must have and the ahi tacos were excellent, too. Would highly recommend.

The service and ambience are great. I was disappointed with my green eggs and salmon entree. The salmon cakes were very good; however, the green egg frittata is not made with real eggs. Very spongy, and not good.. disappointed for $18!!

I had a wonderful experience with Presley as our server, amazing holiday drinks and a fried chicken and bubble waffle. My husband had the breakfast sandwich and wasn’t blown away, but we’ll be back. That bubble waffle is calling my name!

Had a great experience at whiskey Bird. Mike was our server and he was very attentive and polite. Quite friendly. Although my yakitori skewers were very small they were quite tasty. Did the tofu and mushroom were amazing and the stuffed peppers was surprisingly my favorite. Great atmosphere. Had a great time.

EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE BUT AVOID THE “BACK SECTION” My first visit to Whiskey Bird and it will not be my last. However once I make my Open Table reservation I will call the restaurant in advance to insure that I will not be relegated to the room that is located between the main dining area and the outdoor patio. As the pleasant host lead us through the tastefully decorated dining area with warm woods and holiday decorations we were guided past that into a cold, bleak, hollow area that is that is nestled between the dining room and the covered outdoor patio. Surrounded by a brick wall, glass and a concrete floor the sounds from the other unfortunate diners sharing our space reverberated through the room which had no decorations or wall hangings save for two lonely plates attached to a plaster wall. The lighting was harsh and the atmosphere can only be described as Public Storage chic. Occasionally when the door leading out to the patio was opened, a blast of cold air swept through the room which only added to the feeling of being trapped in a Russian gulag. Despite the spartan surroundings in which we found ourselves, the service was pleasant and efficient. The drinks, appetizers,and the main course was as good as many of the reviews have indicated. But as we left the establishment and walked past the diners in the main room who were luxuriating in the tastefully appointed decor, I could not help but resent that we paid the same price for an inferior experience.

The gals and I had a lovely time here. Our waitstaff was delightful and funny, and the special seasonal drinks were amazing!! I got the sweet and sour gnocchi, and it was delicious. They’re crunchy on the outside, which was unexpected but very very yummy. That was my first time going, and I will definitely be back!

Tasty interesting food. The server, Candi was amazing and very patient and polite. The choices were delightful and could go back again to try new things.
