The restaurant was super understaffed when we arrived at the New Year Eve night. We waited over 5 mins and finally can talk to the hostess. We sit down and table was not cleaned and still messy. We waited almost 10 mins before someone came to clean it up for us. We only saw one waitress trying to order food and take care of customers at the patio area. The waitress is very nice and friendly though. The special 3 course food for New Year Eve is fantastic! I hope next time when we decide to go to the restaurant again they can have enough working staffs there.

We had an 8:30 reservation for New Years Eve, for a $110 per plate prix fixe menu. We were seated immediately, but no server came to our table. No water, no hello, no nothing. Ten minutes later, we went to the bar and got two drinks. We waited another THIRTY minutes, and still no service. We waved over two servers who both said we weren’t their table and they were too busy. So, after 45 minutes, we left and went somewhere else. No stars.

This is a totally different experience we had years ago. They used to have a buffet for New Year’s Eve, room for dancing, beautiful seating options. Now you sit on patio chairs and wooden tables. No ambience, no party favors, no decor. It felt like being in an office. Not worth it any longer.

We had our after Christmas family brunch/lunch at Whiskey Red's. The food was delicious (good size portions too) and our server Bertha was very attentive and pleasant. We haven't been here in a long time but was very pleased with all the staff and the outdoor patio was great with heat lamps and fire pits. Looking forward to going back again in the future. Thanks!

The place has been remodeled. The wonderful booths have been removed and there is now one table for a large group in the middle of a very large room. The other room with a fireplace and bar has only a few tables against the window and the rest of the space is empty! The patio has been redone with new tables and a very large tent is overhead, making it a comfortable, dog-friendly space. But there was hardly anyone there on Christmas Day where my husband and I and a friend have been celebrating that day for many years. In the past, it has been a happenin' place! We sat at our table for a long time before any of the wait people even acknowledged us. Once one did, it was fine. But the food is just ho-hum. I ordered Surf and Turf. I got the Turf (beef) but not the Surf (shrimp) which was rectified when I informed the waitress. The coffee I ordered for dessert was delicious but only warm, not hot. Don't think I will return.

Christmas luncheon special was nice Service started off slow, with no waiter assigned to our table until I notified another waiter. Food was good. Appetizer tray was missing an item and so was the desert tray. Overall plenty for us to eat.

Service felt rushed, no time in between courses. The appetizer platters could be less seafood to make more shareable. Ordered bottomless mimosa, kept having to ask for every single refill.

Hairy Christmas! Very disappointed in a "4-course Christmas Brunch" offering at Whiskey Reds. 1. Two of the four courses had to be returned as they had human hair - one buried in the family style salad; another atop a diner's pasta. Unmistakable, human hair clearly perched atop the meal, as it was placed on the table The first hair noted kindly to the waitress who apologized - but we were good on salad at that point. The second hair warranted a request for a manager ~ who rather defensively asserted how strange it was to have hair, as "everyone in my kitchen wears hats." The hairs were reported kindly and conscientiously - not rudely or demanding. No apologies, the reply was a speedy brush off with no acknowledgement. 2. Made reservations online for 3 - clearly stated online no ability to reserve a specific table/view - but first come first served on arrival; yet upon arrival we were denied seating at any of the four + open window tables (all sized for 3 people) - as they were "reserved". Although not crowded at our 11am seating; we were placed in a high traffic area, just below the steps to the kitchen. 3. Despite high traffic area, traffic was not to our table. One diner had bottomless mimosas, that started at the 3rd course and only 2 of six flavors listed on the Christmas menu were available. Requested no oysters as no one ate oysters at the table -yet they came with three shrimp. Food (aside from hair) was lackluster and uninspired. Don't believe the hype on the high pile of nutella french toast (1 piece, smear of nutella, syrup came later). Truffle pasta (sans hair garnish) was fine. The dessert assortment - mish/mash, store-box macaroons and grocery pies. 4. $300 later ~ and we never short the waitstaff - not their fault... but food quality, management, cleanliness, and vibe was NOT one we will be returning to. It is a shame such a lovely venue doesn't come with lovely customer responsiveness or hairless options. NO GOOD.
