   Originally, I thought the food would be mediocre since google reviews had a score of ~4.3/5. We had a reservation late Saturday night for 6 that included 2 little ones. We arrived 20-30 mins before our reservation, they got us seated right away. We ordered the the gulf coast oysters and nachos for appetizers. For the main meals we ordered 14 oz wagyu New York strip, chicken fried ribeye, salmon and Wimberly salad with grilled shrimp. For sides we ordered the mashed potatoes, green beans and sautéed mushrooms. 1 order of the sides can feed up to 2 ppl, the serving sizes were generous. For cocktail drinks we had a Mexican old fashioned and a titos dirty martini. Based on the reviews a majority of the negative reviews are ranging from 1-3 months ago, I believe they just opened around Nov. 2024, so they were probably working through some improvements. Overall a great experience and the food and service was great! Even better, it's located a few minutes from us. I hope they keep up with the quality of food and service!

   Our first time at Whiskey Ridge we were finally able to make a reservation and we had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent our server Maddie was fantastic! Polite sweet funny and very knowledgeable about the menu. Our meals overall were very good the calamari dish was delicious as were the fish tacos and fried shrimp. We will definitely be back !

   Food was great as usual. Tough to make a choice, it all looks good. Service was attentive without being intrusive.

   The calamari was excellent. The chicken fried steak was good, but we didn’t care for their take on cream gravy and it smothered the steak. Iceberg salad was huge, but lacking enough dressing or added condiments.

   Think casual fancy Texas for the atmosphere. Food is great and the service is top notch! Worth the drive down to Driftwood!

   Food was delicious, service was attentive and setting was enjoyable. Noise level inside made it difficult to conduct normal conversations.

    Great food choice, waitress knew what was going on, the food was served perfectly, drinks were top of the line, and the birthday girl was treated with a great dessert. This is one of the best places in Texas. Thank you for your services!
