White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. The menu includes several White Dog staples, such as Kennett Square Mushroom Soup, Double Cheddar Burger, Lamb Bolognese, Truffle Fries, and house-made bread baskets from local farms, alongside new additions.

    Love White Dog in Chester Springs. The setting is beautiful, interior design is spectacular and the food , atmosphere and waitstaff is superior! Each area is cozier than the next. Don’t miss out on this!

    First time at the restaurant. We just happened upon it while driving. We enjoyed it very much and love the decor, food and service. Planning on bringing family back soon.

    Beautiful, festive place! We had a table in the enclosed outdoor space which was plenty warm with the space heaters. Awesome service from Colby and all of the staff was very attentive and kind. We had the trout, meatloaf and salmon, all excellent. Maryland crab dip app was great too.

    Our waitress Carla, so should be back shortly to take our drink order a little over 10 minutes she circled back to us. We didn’t see many gluten free, vegetarian, or vegan dinner options?

    Food was excellent, and our server was really good and I was thrilled that they didn’t give us a hard time about having two separate checks for our table. That was an issue in the past and one thing that was making us hesitant to return, but all was good. It’s a fun place to have a meal and a drink and enjoy company of friends and family

    We arrived at 4:30 to ensure a quiet table, which we got. Chris E. was our server, and he did an exceptional job. We loved the Crosby Cabernet Savignon. My husband enjoyed the filet mignon, and I loved the sea bass, followed by the creme brulee. Thank you White Dog Care for yet another fine meal!

    The experience at the bar was not good, it was not crowded when I arrived but I had to wait 10 minutes for a drink even though there were 3 bartenders, when my friend’s arrived we waited another 15 minutes for their drinks, when I requested the check, 2 times, the young lady who had just came on shift had a bit of an attitude, so no tip. When we sat down at the table for dinner it was a totally different experience, our server grace was fantastic (5 star); the food and service were excellent.

    Definitely a special occasion kind of place. Food was very good but prices are high. Service was slow but good.

    Food was just ok. Fish was good but Roasted vegetables were extremely undercooked. Also we had a late reservation (8:30) and felt they rushed us to order.
