   Everything was very good, we thought the menu was quite exotic, surprising as you would expect the menu to be more traditional. Had a enjoyable evening.

   Another superb meal. Highly recommend the roast beef. Waiters/waitresses were friendly and knowledgeable.

   The White Lion at Hankelow is one of my favourite places they do an excellent roast. Today was even better we had a a sharing platter that was really generous. Loved it

   Was disappointed 😞 We ordered 4 rump steaks cooked differently but all were cold and when queried which one was medium rare, it was ‘it must be that one’ so no certainty. I complained about the cold food but no options or apology given to us. Very quiet for a Saturday night. Don’t think I’ll return sadly

   We dined on valentines evening The menu was great the seating was upstairs away from the noisy bar area which was appropriate for valentine diners The the staff always friendly there and service was quick and efficient !! ❤️

   Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday Lunch. We both had the roast beef and shared the cheese platter afterwards. Both absolutely delicious. Good portions. Excellent service from our waitress and wine waiter. Our table was downstairs in the snug, next to the log burner which was cosy on a very cold winter’s day. We will definitely be returning.

    My husband had the beef Sunday lunch. He asked for the beef pink, which it was. I had the veggie Sunday lunch and was very disappointed. It was just the normal lunch vegetables with three pieces of roasted sweet potato. Very boring veggie option. We both had sweets which very nice Service was very good. My husband would go again but I would not.
