Farm to table restaurant located on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast, just steps away from the beach and the Mississippi Sound. Located in a gorgeous restored and updated beach front home built in 1905. We use locally sourced farm fresh ingredients to serve a menu that changes daily with availability of fresh ingredients as well as with the changing seasons. We offer craft cocktails, local beers, an extensive list of fine spirits and wines paired with a dining experience that is second to none.

Austin Sumrall is the Chef and owner along with his wife, Tresse. He was classically trained at the Culinary Institute of America. White Pillars has been recognized and awarded in many state and national publications since its opening in 2017. Austin was crowned " King of American Seafood" in 2021 and nominated by the James Beard Foundation as a semi-finalist for "Best Chef South" in 2020. His specialty is keeping his menu fresh and ever changing with local ingredients and a worldly flare.

Outstanding!!!! We had a large party entertaining an out of town business associate & White Pillars was amazing from the time we walked in the door to the the time when we left. The cocktails by Robert are always poured to perfection. Our business associate was thrilled over the scotch selection. Desha, our server, was very personable & accommodating. All of the food was delicious from the Duck Fat Fries, the Fried Oysters, Eggplant Josephine, the Lasagna and the desserts. Everyone had a wonderful time!

We enjoyed the ambience of this historic home, turned restaurant. The server was friendly. However, there was a serious menu issue. When the waiter greeted us, he asked about food allergies/restrictions and we said no pork. He thoughtfully swapped out their usual bread spread which he knew had lard and brought us plain butter instead. Great, so far so good. Then I purposely ordered the lasagna which the menu showed as vegetarian. After having several bites, I noticed ground meat in the food - yup, pork! Fortunately it was a food restriction, not an allergy, but personally traumatizing nevertheless. They were very apologetic and offered free desserts. Just be super cautious with their menu!

Food was amazing. Very creative and fun, which is easy when that creativity translates into delicious food! We tried new things and literally every bite was delicious. And everything goes down a little easier with that Ward 8 cocktail!! 🤤
