   Unusual place but a pleasant change. Would be lovely in the summer I imagine. Nice food and great value. Service was good too.

   My complaining isn’t about the restaurant itself. I’m angry that open table allowed us to book a table for a restaurant that is closed to the public. Planned a Friday night dinner date, travelled 60 minutes or so to get there to find out they were not accepting bookings. Will not be using this platform again.

   Christmas lunch with friend. 1st time here and will definitely be going again. Lovely food and very friendly helpful service. Very grand setting made the occasion feel very special. As we were coming to the end of lunch people were arriving for afternoon tea, we shall be returning to try this as it looked amazing ! Very good value.

   When we arrived they told us there were no tables available even though we had a confirmed booking. The manager was extremely rude. The restaurant is located in a retirement complex and the ambiance is very poor. Don’t book this restaurant

   This restaurant is a hidden gem. The overall experience outstanding. We honestly could find no fault. All the staff were attentive knowledgeable and above all happy. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant

   Interesting building set in the old school, with plenty of room for a large gathering. Friendly helpful staff. Food was cooked well ,with a tempting range of desserts..I don't normally go for pud but the orange brioche bread and butter pudding was delicious!

   An excellent experience, wonderful building and restaurant with first class service from our waitress, Rosie. The food was very good, a reasonable wine list of some good wines and overall a wonderful atmosphere.

    This was our second visit having been for Sunday lunch in the autumn with friends.It was my Mum's 88 th birthday family lunch and it was lovely in every way.Easy access to the restaurant via lift and parking available on the street outside.The restaurant is elegant retaining a lot of original features the food exellent with friendly and attentive service. It was very relaxed not rushed in anyway which made it a really special day for us.
