Opening in August 2022, Wild Blue Restaurant + Bar has garnered acclaim, in 2023 being named #2 Canada’s Best New Restaurant in enRoute / Air Canada Magazine and #4 Best New Restaurant on Canada's 100 Best List and securing an overall #31 ranking for 2024.
Vancouver Magazine dubbed it “The Most Important Whistler Restaurant Opening in a Decade”.
Wild Blue is a distinguished Whistler fine-dining establishment that is devoted to Pacific Northwest cuisine, sustainable seafood, and locally-sourced ingredients. It is led by an exceptional team of partners: Neil Henderson, an award-winning Restaurant Director; Chef Alex Chen, 'Iron Chef' and recipient of Chef of the Year accolades by Vancouver Magazine; and Jack Evrensel, a distinguished member of the Restaurant Hall of Fame, who also founded and previously operated Toptable Group. Our Executive Chef, Derek Bendig, adds extensive experience and a classic French and European culinary touch to the culinary artistry of Wild Blue.

    Phenomenal food and service. Every bite of food gave you a new flavor. Everything was terrific! The service was also top notch. The restaurant was gorgeous! Our only issue - which wasn’t the restaurant’s fault but honestly put a major damper on the night - was a guest who was SO LOUD. No one could talk to each other and when I looked around, no one at any other table was talking. This woman dominated the entire section of the restaurant and killed the ambiance. Major damper on what otherwise was a fabulous meal.

    Me gustó el restaurante? Y la comida muy rica. Aunque no se si precio/beneficio vale la pena. Me pareció caro para lo que comimos. Pero definitivamente es un lugar bonito, y rico para comer.

    The ambiance is great, customer service was fantastic and the food and drinks were on point. We’ve been a couple of times and look forward to coming back! 5 star all around

    Last dinner of the trip and def worth the wait. The tuna was outstanding. Wish I had another day just to go back. Great service.

    Amazing food and excellent service! We had the tuna tartare, pasta, ribeye, and sablefish—everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Highly recommend!

    Great restaurant, one of the best in Whistler. Spotless service, very fresh seafood, good presentation, nice ambiance, not cheap but worth every penny.

    Great service at the bar. The restaurant is beautiful and so the ambiance is fun and sophisticated. Tuna crudo was delicious. Octopus was very good. Picanha was good but not worth the price. Cocktails were amazing! I would return!
