Opening in August 2022, Wild Blue Restaurant + Bar has garnered acclaim, in 2023 being named #2 Canada’s Best New Restaurant in enRoute / Air Canada Magazine and #4 Best New Restaurant on Canada's 100 Best List and securing an overall #31 ranking for 2024.
Vancouver Magazine dubbed it “The Most Important Whistler Restaurant Opening in a Decade”.
Wild Blue is a distinguished Whistler fine-dining establishment that is devoted to Pacific Northwest cuisine, sustainable seafood, and locally-sourced ingredients. It is led by an exceptional team of partners: Neil Henderson, an award-winning Restaurant Director; Chef Alex Chen, 'Iron Chef' and recipient of Chef of the Year accolades by Vancouver Magazine; and Jack Evrensel, a distinguished member of the Restaurant Hall of Fame, who also founded and previously operated Toptable Group. Our Executive Chef, Derek Bendig, adds extensive experience and a classic French and European culinary touch to the culinary artistry of Wild Blue.

    One of the best restaurants i have been to. Fresh ingredients and deep flavor. We ordered many dishes and all of them were fantastic, especially the sablefish! The drinks were also very good. A must-go if you are at whistler, for sure

    The service was beyond horrible from the manager to the receptionist to take your name when you walk in. From the time we sat down and ordered our food. It took them an hour and 15 minutes for the food to be put on a table and every time we make a complaint or ask for a manager to come and ask him to see how food was going to come. It took 10 minutes to even get a manager.

    I ordered a filet medium rare and it came medium. There is no excuse for that. The rest of the food was good, but the prices were completely outrageous. My server was good.

    We had an excellent experience! Flavours, wine, service and even our table location absolutely top notch. Wild Blue is a restaurant that you must experience if you’re in Whistler - or in Canada. It has national accolades, well deserved.

    The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere is top notch. Some of the best service we’ve received in Whistler. We will definitely be back!

    It was a great experience dining at Wild Blue. The food was excellent and service was warm, efficient and professional. We brought our friends this time and they enjoyed themselves thoroughly. We had a great time and would highly recommend the restaurant. A must try whenever you visit Whistler.
