Wild is a small restaurant and wine bar in the regional centre of Castlemaine.
We aim to bring you the best of the regions produce and beverages in a friendly and professional environment.
Our menu is based around sharing plates and we can cater to the single diner through to large groups.
In addition to the tables available online we have outdoor tables for casual walk-ins.

Lovely staff, gave us the right amount of time to decide on drinks and food. Great suggestions and advice too. The space was ample for our needs (business meeting for 2). Food was very tasty and different, they have their own style.

The building is set up beautifully and we felt as if we were having a lovely night experience just by being there. But it was a too cramped, hot and stuffy to sit inside so we moved outside. The staff were well trained and so very pleasant: the highlight of our experience. The food was very nicely but simply presented. We travel a lot and considered the lack of flavour and flair a bit disappointing. .. The skill is there but needs to be as brave as the decor and serving staff….let it rip chefs !,,,,we know you can do it ….and use local produce !

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at Wild. The food was fabulous, beautiful wines and a lovely experience all round.

My friend and I had such a wonderful night out at Wild. The waiting staff were super friendly and the food was scrumptious! I was pleasantly surprised with the acoustics too. Our table was quite close to the one next to us, but I didn't hear anything from their table. The lighting and general ambiance also made our dining experience very relaxing. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Consistent good quality service and food. We ate the barramundi and pork belly, halloumi entree and the chocolate dessert

Beautiful venue, kitsch and quirky on the outside, elegant relaxed contemporary style inside. Staff were friendly, attentive, and very helpful. We loved that most dishes were small and for sharing, so we could try most items on the menu, and the food and drinks were lovely. We would definitely come back here!
