                                                                                          The dinner was prepared superbly. I had stuffed prawns, my wife ordered braised beef tips. The waiter was professional, but not intrusive. We sat in a booth near the kitchen and the traffic and disruptions were minimal.

                                                                                          If I could give 0 stars I would. This was the worst meal and experience I have ever had. The food was truly unappetizing and service horrendous. The waiter didn’t tell us the truth and when we wanted his attention he walked away. The seat I sat in was ripped and no cushion. For such an expensive restaurant, how do they get away with this. STAY AWAY. Total rip off.

                                                                                          My partner's steak was outstanding and great value. My ribs were tasty but had many tiny bones to watch out for. It's always nice to get sides with an entrée.

                                                                                          Once again, Wild Garlic did not disappoint. My husband and I met another couple there. At the last minute, we requested to sit inside, although our reservation was for outside and appreciated the accommodation - but the table we got was a little cramped. There were many people on the patio and they say it is well-heated, so we will not chicken out next time, and try that! For dinner, we split the rack of lamb and our companions split the elk! Both plates were beautiful, delicious, and very shareable. We also had a wedge salad to start - perfect. Delicious veggies surrounded the meat. We added some large shrimp to the order, which were cooked to perfection. To drink, I had a lemon drop martini - again, perfect - one did the trick - and my husband and his friend had old fashioned's - which they said were very good. Wine list is extensive with many "by the glass" options to choose from. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and his explanation of the many specials was quite impressive. We will be back!
