Wild Ginger has been a staple in the Seattle area since 1989. Our food originates in regions throughout Southeast Asia from China to Indonesia and beyond. We pride ourselves on offering traditional dishes from these distinctive regions and insist on house-made ingredients. Chefs make spicy chili sambals, fresh coconut milk, delicate egg noodles, our pungent oyster sauce, and more all from scratch. To achieve the sublime flavors of the East, there is no substitute for the time-honored customs of these rich and ancient cultures.

Make you feel like family, the moment you walk in the door! Being one of the Busiest restaurants in Bellevue, you should make reservations on Open Door! If not, the bar is open and Alive! The food and drinks are SO GOOD! And so many Delicious and creative options! I can’t wait to go back! Snow ❄️ Flake lane and all! It was worth it!

                                                                                                        Food and server was amazing. But manager wasn’t good. We asked swerved id they can make some lettuce cup vegetarian, he came back and told that it can’t and so we ended up ordering papaya salad. Manager came and told us after that we said no to lettuce cup and they have to throw it. We said we didn’t order but if you had to throw it, it’s OK bring it in. So insisted that even the server came and told us that it can’t be and so we changed it to papaya salad. He then said no worry about it somebody in the back of the kitchen who likes tofu can eat it. Totally impolite. After sometime walk around the table and looks at a table and says do you want some hot sauce? That is a bias statement, assuming we Indians need hot sauce. He might be trying to be nice. But if it was a great service, he shouldn’t have come and asked.

                                                                                                        Food was quite good but service was so slow.. took so long to get drinks and no one came for 30 mins to even take our order for food. The other waiter (not who took Our order) was so new and had no idea of what he was even serving us. All up food was tasty but poor service and poor communication

                                                                                                        We come here every year to celebrate my husband's birthday and we have never been disappointed. The staff is great and the food is delicious - especially the fragrant duck. The duck is not to be missed! We are here during snowflake lane and its always lively and festive. Love this tradition!
