Wild Ginger has been a staple in the Seattle food scene since 1989 - serving authentic Southeast Asian cuisine, craft cocktails, and more. This location has a hip, modern vibe and an industrial feel complete with a large U-shaped bar, custom lighting, authentic artwork and décor (such as a beautiful multi-colored Indian wedding shawl), Indonesian wood and copper details, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, an outdoor patio, and more. Both the bar and satay counter provide guests the opportunity to see all of the action unfold right in front of them. Enjoy dining outside this summer on our patio!

We have dined at Wild Ginger many times and have never been disappointed with the food or service.If you can be seated in a booth, go for it. They provide privacy and some soundproofing, making it easy to have a conversation. Some of our personal favorite dishes are the Pad Thai (perfect), the butter chicken, the veggie spring rolls, the lamb chops, and the Chinese sausage and shrimp fried rice.

I always enjoy coming to this one in South Lake Union, which is the little sister to the larger restaurant on 3rd Ave. I rarely look at the menu. I just asked the waiter what looks good tonight and they set you up. They also have an exquisite wine selection again I deferred to the SOMM for recommendations Seafood is exceptional try (all) it!

Amazing food and even better service! It’s so nice to go to a quality restaurant again and feel well taken care of. Always love the experience and food at Wild Ginger.

They don't validate parking, but parking in 2201 Westlake is about a 2 minute walk and very reasonably priced.

This is a favorite in downtown, the service is very good, usually not too crowded, food taste range from excellent to good, depending on which dish you order. However, we've noticed portion size has dimished which is a problem for sharing and lowers the overall value. Each plate is enough for 1 person, so we have to order 5 or more for a party of 4+ to do family style, which gets pricey at ~$25+ each, plus drinks and desserts run an easy $200 bill.

We loved the food but overall service experience was not good. We were given the table at the gate with super uncomfortable chairs (so no ambience), table was not changed even after we requested multiple times. Server first forgot the drinks of someone and then forgot the main dish again for another person, which just led other people with food hanging! We won’t go again to this location, might try another location for food. It was New Year’s Eve so it could be that they were over worked.

I love Wild Ginger! I have been going to this restaurant (primarily the Downtown location) since 1994. And it is as good now as it was then! Keep it up WG!

Food and service was supurb. Prices are high like anywhere else but nice to have excellent service & food when paying to go out. All in all a wonderful dinner. Parking free a couple blocks away was a bonus & the area was clean & inviting (near Westlake Center). Wife very happy so husband very happy!
