Wild Ginger has been a staple in the Seattle food scene since 1989 - serving authentic Southeast Asian cuisine, craft cocktails, and more. This location has a hip, modern vibe and an industrial feel complete with a large U-shaped bar, custom lighting, authentic artwork and décor (such as a beautiful multi-colored Indian wedding shawl), Indonesian wood and copper details, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, an outdoor patio, and more. We love this spot. It’s a neighborhood gem. Food is always delicious and the cocktails are always a delight. Service and ambience always welcoming.

The food is always great and our service was excellent as well. The free parking available at all Amazon buildings after 4pm is a real bonus when dining at the Wild Ginger McKenzie.

We decided to have an impromptu lunch with 6 people and booked the reservation through OpenTable early in the morning for that same day. The available times were just right for us and the table was ready when we arrived. The menu met all of the individual needs of the diners, including vegetarian options, and the food was delicious. Service was prompt, efficient, and the staff was friendly. Always a favorite with this group and we were so happy to enjoy a nice meal together.

Amazing food, even 2 decades after my first meal there! And our server was phenomenal. He even brought us a dish to enjoy on the house :) will be going back soon!

$40 plate of 8 small scallops were dry and tasted like they were cooked in a microwave. Same for the mushroom sates. Overall a disappointing meal.

We have dined at Wild Ginger many times and have never been disappointed with the food or service.If you can be seated in a booth, go for it. They provide privacy and some soundproofing, making it easy to have a conversation. Some of our personal favorite dishes are the Pad Thai (perfect), the butter chicken, the veggie spring rolls, the lamb chops, and the Chinese sausage and shrimp fried rice.

I always enjoy coming to this one in South Lake Union, which is the little sister to the larger restaurant on 3rd Ave. I rarely look at the menu. I just asked the waiter what looks good tonight and they set you up. They also have an exquisite wine selection again I deferred to the SOMM for recommendations Seafood is exceptional try (all) it!
