We are a small, independent family run restaurant since 2002 specialising in grass fed Aberdeen Angus beef from Scottish small highland farms, cooked simply but with flair and attention to detail. We also serve fresh fish from local fish mongers west coast mussels, salmon, shrimps & Prawns.
Our emphasis is on high quality local ingredients and fresh produce from the best of local suppliers. Beef is selected, prepared and hung for us by Award wining "John Gilmour" of Macmerry master butchers since 1946. Fresh fish are delivered daily by Calum Sinclair and J.K Thompsons. West coast Mussels are delivered freshly daily by "Sea Mcgee". Artisan and farmhouse British cheeses are supplied by renowned Edinburgh cheesemonger, Iain Mellis and dairy produce from Fife Creamery. We take pride to cook everything fresh in our own kitchen daily.
We have outside seating arrangements for walk-Ins only.

    My daughter and I had had a memorable meal here two years ago and decided to try Wildfire again. Starters were smoked salmon and butterflied king prawns. Both were good but the prawns were superb! We both chose rare sirloins for our mains. Exquisite, butter soft and perfectly cooked! A simple salad and roast tomato accompanied the steak and we opted for a bowl of fries to share. Sticky toffee pudding and the house dessert of basque burnt cheesecake were the perfect end to an excellent meal. Needless to say we’ll be back!

    One of the best steak meals I have ever had., and I eat at Edinburghs best steak hoses on a regular basis. Highly reccomended.

    Made to feel very welcome the instant we arrived. Slight issue with the combos on some of the steaks brought out, but was sorted very quickly and efficiently - we were even given a complimentary round of drinks as an (in all honesty, completely unnecessary) apology. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal - 5 steak dinners and 5 empty plates at the end, so cannot really fault it.
