   We do not eat out a lot, as we are both good cooks, but when we do go out, Willie's is always one of our top choices. Food is always wonderful, service is gracious and the ambiance is simply lovely. I thought it might be some level of madness today for Easter Brunch and I was wrong -- it was the same lovely, gracious service and fine food. Thanks to Willie Rhine for his hard work and the training and selection of remarkable staff. Happy Easter!

   We went for afternoon tea and it was perfection. We then decided to have a drink and an appetizer at the lounge. The food and drink were delicious. However, we ordered the exact same drink and appetizer, but somehow we received two different appetizers. It took a long time for the chef to make the appetizer and by then my food was cold. I will return. Until, this visit, I’ve always had a wonderful experience.

   Service was exceptional, food fantastic and second year in a row we have visited Willie’s while in town. Only blip was when they offered us a table outside the kitchen which we turned down and were shown to a better location. Will eat at Willie’s again when we retro the desert.

   Wanted to enjoy it. But as a couple of women we seem to always get the worst table (I refused to sit at not one but two tables they offered both which looked directly into the service area & kitchen door). It’s so frustrating. Once seated our waiter was pleasant & we enjoyed the wedge salads. Neither of us cared for the sauces or overall flavor of the chicken dish. We also ordered the butterscotch pineapple dessert as it sounded unique - I didn’t care for the flavor or texture. Overall a disappointment.

   Thank you for your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear about your seating experience and that the overall visit didn’t meet your expectations. No guest should feel like they’re being offered less-than-welcoming tables, and I completely understand how frustrating that must have been. I appreciate your kind words about the service and wedge salads, but I regret that the entrées and dessert didn’t deliver on flavor or presentation.    I would have given 5 stars but the one issue we had was the table next to us ordered off the bar menu and when we asked to see it we were told we could not order off the bar menu. We were told the group next to us could not get a seat in the lounge so they gave them a seat in the dining room and were told they could order off the bar menu. IMO, if you’re allowing some to do it, all should be able to do it.
