   We are very hooked on the seared ahi, and think that the way Willow does it is the best in all of SLO! Chef Lamar is great, and even came out to explain how he cooks the ahi to such perfection. On a warm afternoon, the patio is great!

   Absolutely the worst meal I've had in a while. The fish tacos were cold and undercooked. The fries they were served with were lackluster but at least slightly better than the tacos.

   This place is horrible: Poor food, really poor value in a really great location. You can tell that whoever owns the willow, just doesn't get it.

   I've eaten here with friends, sometimes outside on the patio, sometimes inside. Service has always been outstanding, and wait people friendly and accommodating. Portions are always very generous. I've had the Cobb Salad twice and it is a huge portion and excellent. The first time, when I saw the size, they immediately brought a box and I took half home. The second time my husband and I shared.

   Hmm . . . Monday nights must be really slow, as we three were the only ones in the outside patio. Usually I LOVE Willow, but this visit was rather disappointing. I had the seared ahi which is usually delish, but came out cold, and the wasabi sauce was blah. For such a slow night, you'd think the service would be fast, but we experienced a long wait for our food, which is probably why it did not come out hot. Oh well. I'll be back, but without so much enthusiasm.

   We are big fans of the duo Duet It 2 It. We go to all of their gigs. When they first perform at Willow, we were not anticipating a good food experience. Willow was a pleasant surprise: excellent food and great service!

   Willow has added a $10 lunch menu and a $5 wine special, both of which which were good options as most everything else on the menu had become pricier since our last visit, which is why my "Value" rating is down to three stars. Still love Willow, but won't go quite so often.

   Everyone enjoyed the food, but the service was not very good. We felt invisible. Took over 10 minutes to get our wine opened, and 3-4 trips by the server - 1st ? do you want glasses for your wine ? several trips later here come the glasses, but alas no wine key - again several trips later to the table behind us, and the wine was then opened. Water was difficult to get refilled. A couple people ordered coffee, and they ran out of COFFEE ?? My Open table reservation was not in their books. Overall the food was enjoyable, but the bad service made the experience less than stellar

    The chicken tortilla soup was perfect for the cool evening as the sun set. Love the outdoor seating area, plenty of heaters to also take the chill out of the air. Highly recommend the raspberry cakie. Everything was so unique, delicious and memorable. Can't wait to return with friends! The patio live music was also great!
