    We sat at the bar which was fine with both of us. The problem is we ordered three starters and all three arrived within minutes of each other. It seemed as though they just wanted us out so they can get in more guests. Which is understandable but it made for an unpleasant meal. We ordered a main to split paid up then went to another restaurant to finish the meal part of our evening. I found that part quite disapointing. Everything else, food, service room was fantastic.

    Food, service, and ambience were great. Only complaint is the noise level. Two of our party of 4 are hard of hearing so it was very difficult for them, but even for myself and the 4th, we found it very loud. Not much they can do about that - everyone was having a great time so it was happy noise, just a bit painful for us. Awesome food though.

    Everything was very impressive – – the service in particular stood out. The staff went over and above to accommodate when a few extras wanted to join our group last minute. The food was creative and delicious.

    I wanted to thank you for making my mum's birthday dinner so special. Meg and everyone else who attended our table were so thoughtful and gracious. Loved the food! The beet salad, the gnudi and the pork belly were out of the world. And the dessert was the perfect way to end such a lovely evening. Thank you so much and I hope to be back soon !

    We've come to this restaurant a few times before but this time we tried the chef special for $85 per person. We did not enjoy this as much as when we chose our own dishes. Our appetizer was a salad, followed by salmon, lingcod, then duck. We felt the appetizer was lacking, and we did not get any carb/starch item. We even had to order the tater tots after our dessert came out because we were not satisfied. For $85 a person this was not worth it. We were not happy about the items we were given and felt it would have been cheaper if we picked these items off the menu versus going with the chef choice. We would not recommend the chef choice. If going with the chef choice you would think they would given you items that would be either off menu or greater than $85

    We don’t live in Victoria but always come here for dinner when in town. Food, service, wine is exceptional. Our favourite place!

    We went to celebrate a birthday, and the whole experience was wonderful. The food was great. The cocktails were great. We highly recommend this place.

    As always the service was great, as was most of the food. We had the duck, and it was quite chewy, and not in a good way. Mentioned it to staff, no adjustment to the bill.
