Our server, Cory, was knowledgeable, fun, and took care of our every request including asking her bosses to turn the lights down a bit. The atmosphere was then perfect. Food was delish. Food came quickly. Topped off with a visit from manager Jake Villalobos. He kept the whole room humming. You MUST try Wine Dive!

First time there and found it very enjoyable. This will my go to place in Lawrence.

For the dollars the food was very underwhelming. The appetizers were bland, one was supposed to be scallops but it was really a dish of sauce with paper thin shavings of scallops. The entree choices included a steak that had so much peppercorn on it, it was painful to eat and a poached halibut that was very bland and dry. The crème brûlée ramekin was the smallest I have ever seen, maybe three bites. The chocolate cake portion was big but dry and was supposed to be served with a sauce that by 8:00 they had run out of. The only redeeming course was the salad and soup. They were both pretty good. All in all, I would say if you are going to try and serve a set menu at a fine dining price make sure you know how to create and execute. As for the service, the restaurant was half empty yet our waitress, who we had to get up to get her attention, continued to say “oh I’m so sorry we are so busy”. I hate being so critical but when you spend over $200 on a meal there are expectations of service and food quality.

It was a very nice evening. The staff was kind and friendly. The food was good and tasteful.

This was our first time here and it was fantastic! The wine and the almond crusted trout was excellent, my wife had the veggie risotto and she went off on the flavor and the veggies.

Wine dive is a great place for a hang with friends. Lots of great menu options and fantastic wine list. Our waiter Gage was super knowledgeable about wine selection and very attentive in general. Highly recommend!
