Please note, I understand that the restaurant was understaffed. That said restaurant was half full, only the bar area in use on a Saturday night. The main dining room was empty except for a 8-10 top that could not fit in the bar. My primary concern is the food was not good. Based on that alone I would not go back. Appetizers came, one tepid the other hot. Entrees were super sweet. Cloyingly so. Almost inedible, but since they were served an hour and twenty after we arrived I didn’t want to waste the time making an issue of it at the time. The server Jenn was fine. She was friendly and clearly had too many tables. I assume the kitchen too was understaffed as the food was coming up slowly for all the customers. That can be forgiven IF the food quality is good. Sadly it was not.

Manager that night was heavily intoxicated. Out of edamame and other menu items. Understaffed. No longer cable TV in the bar area. Watched a beach scene for an hour.

Overall the food was very good. But the dining experience was not. Upon arrival we stood around for 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged we were there. It was quite chaotic. Seated near a front window we quickly realized we would need to keep our coats on. The cocktail I ordered only half-filled the glass. The sushi appetizer we ordered never arrived, the waitress explaining that they were really backed up. The stir fry dishes were hot and tasty.

We had terribly slow service. Half the drinks took 20 minutes and the food took an hour with the waitress indifferent and no explanation offered. Have to imagine the kitchen was way understaffed but there was hardly anyone in the restaurant to begin with so hard to understand. Really pathetic service. Food was just ok.

Family dinner before a show at the Wheaton theater. Reservation at 6pm for a 730pm show. Thought that should be plenty of time to eat, unfortunately I was wrong. The restaurant was understaffed for the amount of customers. The staff was trying their best but ultimately we had to leave to make our show before our entrees were served. The manager did not charge us for any food. We offered to pay for the drinks and appetizers that we ate, but they insisted we didn't need to pay. The appetizers we did get to eat, coconut shrimp, crab Rangoon, chicken lettuce cups, were all delicious.
