Ya-Ya’s chophouse & seafood is a new steakhouse concept created for the adventurous guest who enjoys a diverse menu and full flavors. Ya-Ya’s strives to bring you the very best cuts of PRIME steaks as well as the highest rated A-5 Wagyu beef flown in directly from Nagasaki, JAPAN. We are also especially proud of our seafood selection; flying in live whole Maine lobster daily as well as using the freshest, locally sourced island fish available. A steakhouse that isn’t your typical steakhouse; a unique fun place that welcomes you, whoever you are, and will treat you as a VIP every time! This is our goal and our commitment to you!

It took 1 and a half hours for us to get our food for our date night on Saturday. They didn’t mention that they were running behind until 10 minutes before our food came out. It took them 25 minutes to serve our drinks. They forgot to bring us the bread until I asked for it 40 minutes into us being there. Mind you we still didn’t have our entrees. They forgot parts of our order. And they spilled water in front of our booth and didn’t bother to clean it up, and I almost slipped on our way out because of the water spill. The things that were good where the live saxophonist playing Christmas music and the food when it came out. For our date night, the experience wasn’t worth the price and we ended up running late to our next date night reservation. We arrived at 7:03pm, didn’t get out drinks until 7:28pm, got our bread 7:43pm, and didn’t eat until 8:15ish pm. Our next date night event was at 8:30pm. Unfortunately, very disappointing.

I can't say enough good things about this place! The seafood tower, wagyu, wine list--all impeccable. Special occasion--go here!! It was phenomenal!

The bone marrow and grilled octopus was beyond expectations. A must reorder for our next visit. The entrees bone-in ribeye, fillet and lobster are top notch at a good value

Service was excellent and very attentive! We ordered, 1) Octopus w/greens which was ok as I’ve tried others with more flavor, 2) Lobster Pan Roast was good with a good variety of seafood but gravy was a little too rich, 3) ribeye steak with bone-in was excellent with good marbling n seasoning, 4) smashed potatoes was ok but I probably would just order a regular baked potato next time, 5) corn brûlée was the least favorite as it was too sweet with the cream like sauce that you couldn’t taste the corn so we hardly touched it and last but not least 6) dessert was beignets with vanilla macadamia nut ice cream n chocolate sauce …. excellent!!! They also had a live saxophone player that was very good. He did go around the restaurant playing at tables but didn’t make it to ours but that’s ok as we didn’t want to be disturbed but did enjoy his music from a distance. I would come back and try other side dishes with my steak again.

By far the best food experience we had on our trip. Best steak on the island, amazing service and live music was awesome! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Celebrated family birthday - staff treated us like royalty, super friendly - food was excellent! Wagyu A5 appetizer was to die for = tastes like butta!!

Ya-Ya's Chophouse & Seafood, 508 Keawe St, Honolulu, HI 96813, 808-725-4187. Highly recommend. Had oyster, crab cakes, clam chowder, berries salad, Imperial Wagyu with a baked potato, and for dessert, beignets. All good especially the Imperial Wagyu. Service was excellent and we recommend Ryan & Kai. Manager, Darnell, came by and was very engaging and kind. Live music was the perfect ambiance. We loved this restaurant so much; we are planning to go again for my wife's birthday. For us, worth the price we paid.
